Vibemetrix Daily Vibe - Blog Series

by Chel Wolverton on October 24, 2008

First thing today I want to congratulate Groundswell’s Josh Bernoff and Charlene Li for their recognition as Visionaries of the Year by the Society for New Communication Research.  Delighted to hear you’ve both been honored with that achievement.

The Daily Vibe is a series highlight other people’s work and sometimes asking a question of the day in order to get the vibe of trending thoughts on hot topics.  I appreciate you sharing your thoughts here and on Twitter to help others chime in and express what they think on a daily basis.  Being the lightening rod of conversation makes my job very satisfying when I can inspire YOU.  So let me know what’s on your mind about any of our topics and as always you can email me [chel [at] vibemetrix [dot] com] anytime with questions or suggestions.

  • The BrandBuilder Blog just started a series on “Helping dying or distressed brands“.  The series is so far very full of advice how to keep your brand from dying in this economy but also reminding folks that it’s okay to as for help, especially when it’s your brand and/or company on the line.
  • Lee Odden is back and is doing a series on SEO Basics.  It’s helpful for small business and one man brands in maximizing their SEO on their website without hiring big firms to do get it done.  Check it out.
  • As a step off the traditional business path, Christopher Penn always gives some fresh outlook and valuable advice that we need to know and practice in good times and bad.  With a passion for helping others, he recently shared teaching he’s learned as a ninja. Chris translated the “Enlightened Warrior Gyoja Practitioner Recitation Handbook” from pure warrior teachings into something that can be applied to a business world.
  • And to sum up the day’s posts, one of my favorite series is the Small Biz 100 by the talented blogger Becky McCray.  She’s got some great advice for all small businesses, big or small, cities or small towns, her advice really is tailored to small business who need some great advice.  Check out the Small Biz 100!

I’d love to hear from you.  What’s your favorite blogger series?  Which help you learned and what lessons did you take away?  Let us know in the comments.
