Vibemetrix Daily Vibe Crowdsourced!

by Chel Wolverton on November 10, 2008

If you haven’t seen my previous post, I’m crowdsourcing the Daily Vibe through Twitter followers, email and even comments.  If you see something you’d like to share or if you have a blog post that you want to share, then by all means ping me!

Here’s a round up of today’s shared links via Twitter and email:

  • Jon Swanson is an excellent writer.  A few weeks ago I stumbled on his new series the next sentence.  He talks in this series about the next actions to take after an event, blog post, or other action in buiding your project or thing.  What comes next? Visit Jon’s blog and read the entire series, it’s a great lesson.
  • John Bordeaux writes an excellent analysis looking at politicians noticing the social media trend and what it means for listening versus broadcasting.
  • Internet marketer new to Twitter?  Or know someone who is?  Please pass along these 5 things NOT to do when using Twitter.
  • Shannon Paul wrote a post title “Don’t be that guy” a few weeks ago and I’ve since been a regular reader of hers (you should be, too).  Now she comes out with the follow up to that post, “How to participate in social media without being THAT guy“.  She encourages her readers to reach out, find out what others are doing, comment on their content and simply engage and show interest.  (Really. Go subscribe now. Actually that goes for all of the bloggers above :))

Thanks to @jnswanson and @jbordeaux for their great links.  Have a link to share?  Let me know!
