Vibemetrix Daily Vibe - An ebook, corporate espionage, and budgeting social media time

by Chel Wolverton on November 11, 2008

I’m running a bit late today with the post because of internet issues where I am working away from home, but for now I’m safely back with internets. Hat tip Beth Harte, one of the Daily Vibe regularly featured bloggers, who sent over the link to Mack’s post.  Stay tuned for another link from her tomorrow that I think goes well with that theme.  Until then, enjoy!

  • Greg Verdino is the Chief Strategy Officer at crayon.  He’s blogged for a little over two years now on topics that are related to marketing and media.  HIs new ebook points at 24 classic posts that still apply to the current state of the social media and marketing world.  Check out the ebook if you don’t already read Greg, it’s a great way to get to know him.
  • Engagement and corporate espionage don’t usually go in the same blog post title, but Todd Defren made it fit.  He’s talking about his friendships with competing agencies and how that makes for healthy competition.  You have to imagine that it makes for some brilliant mashup of ideas between the agencies.  Some examples of ideas expanded upon (or “stolen”) would be interesting.
  • Mack Collier ask a question that often comes up once you’re Twittering, blogging, checking email, keeping up with Facebook and LinkedIN and maybe Plurk.  How do YOU budget your social media time?
